The Graphics Processing Unit(GPU) is an absolute necesity for any and all gaming. People focused on non-gaming related activites may find a GPU is an expendenture they will never need. Memory

Random Access Memberory(RAM) is what allows your system to multitask and perform a multitude of duties simultaneously. More multitasking, more RAM you will need. Ryzen Processors benefit from faster RAM clock speeds and with Zen4 CPU's using DDR5 RAM now, fast RAM is upon us.

@ketterling.space our systems come with a minimum of 16GB of Kingston RAM. Growing up the standard for how much RAM people would install was 8GB, today many people's needs exceed the old 8GB standard, as such all systems configurations offered by ketterling.space have at least 16GB of ram.

Central Processing Unit

The Central Processing Unit(CPU) is responsible for executing and running all applications, there are 2 metrics commonly used to rate CPUs. The First is the CPU's speed, measured in hertz, faster a processor more it can process, therefor faster your system. The second metric is core count, more cores equal more processes that can happen simultaneously and for applications capable of using multi-core processing, faster you can complete a workload.

Power Supply Units

PSUs are responsible for providing your system with clean energy from the AC wall outlet. PSUs are rated to what Wattage they can operate at, Exceeding their rating will result in equipment failure and possible permanent damage. Having a PSU that is rated well higher than the maximum system needs isn't bad, Having headspace with your PSU could mean increasing its lifetime potential.
